Smart Travel communications was formed in 1992 to provide travel suppliers with tools of the trade such as sales directories, direct mail, brochures and website development. From the year 2000 onward, we have focused on developing an email database of retail travel agents to broadcast email campaigns within the travel industry.

We send information to the travel agent on behalf of the suppliers. It took us several years to develop our database of travel agents and we have the best data available, as we update and clean our list on a daily basis. Our mailings include travel agents who have opted-in and requested our emails. We are in full compliance with CA and Federal SPAM laws concerning unsolicited email.

We have successfully delivered email campaigns for hundreds of travel suppliers over the past five years. We pioneered the use of images and hyperlinks in email advertising in our industry, allowing the information transmitted to be viewed in vivid color pictures and graphics.

The company was founded by Ron Harris. Having been in the travel industry for over 40 years, primarily as CEO of a major tour operator, his experience has provided the expertise in promoting a supplier's product to the travel agent.
